This is a long stage, you can divide into two staying the night in Calzada de Valdunciel. In this stage you will have to walk near the dual carriageway, through a path that will lead you to El Cubo de la Tierra del Vino the first village of Zamora.

The route that goes from Calzada de Valdunciel and El Cubo del Vino has no intermediate villages, so you won’t find any service. You have to take this information into account to plan your stage. This stage is easy for everyone.

Km 0 – Inicio
You will start today’s stage in the Plaza Mayor square and then you will have to walk through some streets to get out of the city. Then you will get to a roundabout and then you will cross a commercial area. You will continue walking towards Zamora through the national road and you will see another roundabout, you will have to continue and you will see the dual carriageway; you will have to cross it through an underpass to get to the N-630, where you will leave the asphalted road a little bit after to walk through a path that will lead you to Aldeaseca de Armuña. In this village you will visit its local church and then you will have to continue through some of its streets such as Ruta de la Plata, Frontón and Campillo, all of them to the left.
You will have to surround the church and turn left, then you will continue always straight forward forgetting about all the alternative way to the right a little bit after. Then you will have to turn right a little bit after and you will see some warehouses. A little bit after you will have to cross again the dual carriageway through an underpass to get to a crossing; once you get here you will have to go to the right and walk up a little bit to a little bit after go down to the Arroyo de la Encina stream. After crossing this stream you will get to another path that surrounds a football field and that will lead you to Castellanos de Villiquera. In this village you will find some services, you can stop here to rest for a while or maybe to buy some needed stuff.
Continuing through Vía de la Plata you will cross a patk and then you will get to a path that will lead you to a church devoted to Santa Elena located in Calzada de Valdunciel. This village has some services, including a hostel. You have to take into account that there are approximately 20 kilometres left to get to El Cubo de la Tierra del Vino, so there are lots of pilgrims that decide to stay the night there.
You will have to continue through the Calle Carrascal street and also through the Plaza de la Constitución square to get to the Calle Ruta de la Plata street. Then you will get to the Arroyo de la Vega stream, you will have to cross it and get to a path that goes through a picnic area. You will have to continue always straight forward until get to a signal that indicates you that you have to turn right and get to the national road a little bit after. You will have to cross another stream before crossing the dual carriageway through an underpass and get to the national road that crosses a river and again the dual carriageway then you will have to get to another path that goes parallel to the national road; you will have to walk through this path continuing straight forward in all the crossings until get to the end of the stage. To get to the local hostel you will have to walk through some streets of the village. Para acceder al fin a El Cubo de la Tierra del Vino tendremos que recorrer los últimos metros por la calle Mayor, girando más adelante a la izquierda por la calle García de la Serna, la del Toro y Eras de Arriba, donde veremos finalmente el albergue municipal.
