Ermita de la Virgen Milagrosa

This small but beautiful chapel began to honor the Virgen de la Milagrosa in 1936, after serving as a school for kindergartners. The space is mainly divided into three areas: the main chapel, the main nave and the sacristy.

Ermita de Nuestra Señora de la Coronada

This temple, built between the 15th and 16th centuries, has a rectangular floor plan with a single nave, choir and tower at the base. Of its primitive construction, only the main chapel remains standing, covered with a ribbed vault and the exterior battlements. From its old tower stands out the Perdón doorway, which has a pointed arch composed of three archivolts. It stands out the Virgen de la Coronada that, with its lantern, is half hidden behind the main altar.

Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Carmen

Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Valle

It is the most important and outstanding church of Villafranca de los Barros and, as such, was declared of Cultural Interest in 1984. One of the elements that contributed to this fact was the beauty of its main facade, which houses a Gothic doorway called the Puerta del Perdón. Of marked Gothic style, it was built by Juan de Maeda at the beginning of the 16th century.

One of the most outstanding elements of the whole complex, without doubt, is the iconography in which grandiose reliefs of the Nativity, the Resurrection, the Ascension and the Epiphany are represented.
