Its original structure underwent major rebuilding since the seventeenth century so that today so few elements of the original construction are preserved.

Iglesia de San Salvador
This temple was built during the ninth century but its original structure was demolished and later recovered in the eleventh century. Initially it was a hospital for pilgrims on the Camino, as it was located in the nerve center of the town and on the road to Santiago de Compostela.

Fachada del Cementerio
The magnificent facade of the cemetery is a work of architecture of the city. The frontispiece stands out for having been erected in the year 1887 by Juan Bautista Lázaro de Diego.
<pMudejar style with reddish bricks, above the entrance arch and its iron gate there is a panel of the Municipal Cemetery and above it a small lighthouse.

Centro de Interpretación de las Tierras Bañezanas
This interpretation center was inaugurated in 2011 in a modernist style building erected in the early twentieth century. This building originally served as a flour factory, specifically until 1996. Subsequently it was renovated to house the premises of this center and the Tourist Office.

Casa Consistorial
The town hall of La Bañeza is a neoclassicist style building built between 1900 and 1909 by the well-known architect Lázaro Cárdenas. Years later, a hexagonal tower with a slate roof and a carillon was added, thanks to which the Hymn of Joy is played every hour.

Capilla de Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno
This curious temple built in the seventeenth century houses inside the Imaginero Museum. In it there is a large sample of pieces such as the carvings of the Amargura and a Nazarene, by Luis Salvador Carmona. In addition, research work is also carried out in these facilities. It underwent numerous extensions throughout the twentieth century, the most important to condition the space to the museum.

Capilla de Nuestra Señora de las Angustias y la Soledad
This small 16th century temple consists of a single nave, inside which there is an image of the Angustias dating from 1600. It also houses other interesting paintings such as the Passion of the seventeenth century or the image of Santo Potajero. Formerly this space was used as the headquarters of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Sorrows and Solitude.

Antiguo Hospital
It is believed to be the oldest building in the entire city of La Bañeza, dating back to 1539. It still retains some elements of the original building, although a major reconstruction took place in 1897. The building is not open to the public but you can admire its beautiful brick facade.
