The town of Ponte Ulla belongs to the municipality of Vedra in the province of A Coruña. In this small village the pilgrim will make the last rest before the arrival in Santiago de Compostela, being able to visit its Romanesque church dedicated to Mary Magdalene.

The public hostel is located about three kilometers from Ponte Ulla, specifically in the town of Outeiro, but there we will not find any service so it is advisable to stock up in Ponte Ulla.

How to get there

The main way to get to the municipality of Ponte Ulla is by road and it is best to go to Santiago de Compostela and once there take the AP-53 highway and leave it in Feal to take the AC-241. Another option is to take the national road N-525.

To arrive by public transport the most advisable option due to its proximity to Santiago de Compostela is to take a bus offered by the company Monbús that connects the Galician capital with Ponte Ulla.
