Information
Get to know Lubián
The town of Lubián is located on the border with Galicia and Portugal. The pilgrims at this stage will leave the community of Castilla y León to enter fully into the Galician community.
Due to the proximity in Lubián is very common that the neighbors speak Galician and Spanish since they are considered bilingual even though Galician is not an official language in the province of Zamora.

How to get there
The main way to reach the municipality of Lubián is by the A-52 highway, known as the highway of the Rías Bajas, which connects O Porriño with Benavente, where it joins the A-6. Other options are secondary roads that at some point link with the A-52 or with the national road N-525.
It is possible to arrive by public transport thanks to a regular railway line that connects Galicia with Madrid, and that before the transfer that takes place in Ourense has a stop in the town.
It is also possible to arrive by bus on intercity lines that communicate the different towns of the Comarca de Sanabria.
