What to see
Campamento Romano de Ciadella
It is a Roman settlement that is very close to the church of A Ciadella, this place, in another time, housed the military unit Cohors I Celtiberorum. In 1934 excavations began at this site and, since 1990, the camp belongs to the Xunta de Galicia.
The site has a rectangular plan, although rounded at the corners, highlighting an almost disappeared moat that is parallel to the wall and had the function of defense. There are also remains of towers and a megalith that was excavated by Criado Boado and Caamaño in 1983.

Lagoa de Sobrado
A Lagoa de Sobrado is also known as the lagoon of Desván, being one of the most outstanding of Galicia, both for its abundant floral vegetation and its birdlife, thanks to this, it belongs to the Natura 2000 Network. In addition, it is also noteworthy that in 1992 it became the property of the Galician Society of Natural History.

Mosteiro de Santa María de Sobrado
The monastery of Santa Maria de Sobrado dos Monxes was consecrated with a family character in 952 by the Counts of Presaras. At first it was called Monastery of San Salvador and belonged to the Benedictine Order of the Black Friars.
In the first half of the twelfth century it belonged to the Cistercian Order, by the Counts of Traba and Alfonso VII, thus proclaiming itself as the first Cistercian monastery of the Iberian Peninsula and one of the most powerful in Galicia.
