Get to know Gernika-Lumo

The town of Gernika-Lumo is known worldwide thanks to the painting by Pablo Picasso, in which he recreates what happened the day the German and Italian air forces bombed Guernica (Spanish name).

On that day the only thing that survived was the Casa de Juntas and the tree, which is the reason why today it does not have an impressive historic center.
