Like most of the Galician towns in Sarria is also a town of good food. Of the place is characteristic the Celtic pork, sausages, hams and lacones. But without forgetting the Galician veal and octopus. As far as desserts are concerned, the freixós, fried milk, roscones and homemade sweets made by the locals are typical.
