The temple presents a structure with a basilica plan, three naves with transept and dome arranged on pendentives, all very well preserved. It also has a presbytery through which you can access the two sacristies and a choir, arranged over the central nave of the temple.

The highlights of the interior of the church are the Baroque altarpiece of the eighteenth-century altar and the seven bas-reliefs dating back to the eighteenth century.

Muralla y Puerta del Castillo

The wall of Mansilla de las Mulas was built before 1181 along the Esla River, when King Ferdinand II ordered the fortification of the town in order to ensure the safety of the neighbors.

Unlike all the walls of León, this one presented a solidly fortified appearance since the walls were high and voluminous.

At present, of the four access gates that the wall had, only the Puerta de la Concepción and the ruins of the Puerta del Castillo, located in the middle of the French Way, welcoming pilgrims to the town, remain intact.

Ermita de Nuestra Señora de Gracia

The Hermitage of Our Lady of Graces was built in the thirteenth century and rebuilt in 1898 since it was completely destroyed by fire.

It is currently preserved in very good condition and is striking since it has ocher colors with red brick finials. Regarding the structure, it has a rectangular shape, with a single nave and a bell tower. The most remarkable of the exterior and interior are the stained glass windows of very sober ornamentation but that provide great luminosity to the altar, where we can admire the carving of the Virgin of Grace with the Child Jesus and a crown.

In the temple is no longer carried out religious worship with the exception of September 4, the day on which is celebrated the pilgrimage in honor of the Virgen de Gracia and come to the temple a large number of people on pilgrimage.
