What to see
Hórreos centenarios
Hundreds of years old and built with stone, the Hórreos de Olveiroa are among the largest and best preserved in the whole province. On the side of the same we will also find a cruceiro.

Cascada del Ézaro
It is the best known waterfall in Europe because it is the only one in the whole continent that flows directly into the sea. The water falls from a total of 40 meters high. However, the slope of the Xallas River in its final course rises to a height of 155 meters above the sea. In addition, next to it, is the viewpoint of Ézaro, which allows us to enjoy sensational views of the union between the river and the Atlantic Ocean.

Dolmen de Pedra da Arga de Regoelle
Located in the town of Regoelle, this dolmen dates back to around the third millennium BC. It is considered one of the largest in the Galician community and is located at a height of 318 meters, in what is called a “chaira” and formed by a conglomerate of pasture meadows. The state of conservation that it presents is very good since even several of the original orthostats can be observed.

Embalse da Fervenza
With an extension of 1250 hectares, this reservoir was built in 1996. As it progresses, we can locate three hydroelectric dams, the Olveira Bridge, Castrelo and Santa Uxía.
The Xallas river is one of the most precious and significant assets available to the municipality of Dumbría.

Iglesia de San Pedro de Buxantes
Of baroque style, the importance of the church lies in the fact that its design and construction was carried out by Domingo Antonio de Andrade, so it can be associated with the temples related to the Camino. Of the same, highlight the huge bell tower that flies over the rest of buildings of Olveiroa.

Puente de Olveiroa
Situated in the middle of the Xallas River, the Olveiroa Bridge is a must for pilgrims on their way to Santiago. In addition, if you manage to get out of the way and follow the river against the current you will reach the Fervenza reservoir.
