Camino del Norte: Stage 24

You will leave Cadaveo through the national road until get to the train rails, you will have to cross them and follow the yellow arrows that will indicate you the way to Villademoros. Then you will have to get to a local road and cross a stream called Palminero. You will get soon to San Cristábl and also to Querúas, you will get to this villages through the national road and also through secondary roads. You will leave the asphalted road to get to the Capilla de San Miguel de Canero chapel, from the 19 century that used to be a monastery founded by Xemeno Xemeniz and Aragonti. Moreover here there was a pilgrim’s hospital. hen you will get again to the national road, you will have to walk towards Luarca. The Esva river will appear in your way and you will have to cross it. You will have to return to the N-634 to get to Caroyas and once you get here you will be combining rural paths and the hard shoulder of the national road to get to Almuña. It is a village where you will find a hostel where you can stay the night. Once you get to Luarca you can enjoy the village.
