Itinerary
Km 0 – Inicio
From the hostel, we head back to the Malecón, leaving O Barco de Valdeorras with our sights set on A Pobra.
To do this, we left on a road near the national road and followed it to this town. There we will have to cross the train tracks by an overpass and descend again in search of the Sil, by which margin we will continue to enter Vilamartín. A little further on, we crossed the bridge of A Rodeleira to continue another five kilometres chasing the river and surrounded by the railway. We will then go out to the national road, the perfect point to appreciate the whole valley on which O Barco de Valdeorras sits.
With great caution and always well signposted, continue on asphalt until you reach A Rúa, entering its main street and turning right just as you pass by the hermitage of San Roque. This small street will lead us to the 18th century church of San Esteban, built on an old 12th century foundation. After a short stop for a drink, we continue along a secondary road full of vineyards and known as Campogrande.
