About this stage
Well, it´s the last day and Santiago awaits, with only one stage left to reach Plaza del Obradoiro and the Santiago Cathedral! Today´s stage is easy, mostly passing by eucalyptus and oak trees until we approach Santiago, where we´ll begin to trek through more urban environments until we enter the historic heart of the city.
Recommendation Pilgrim
This is the best stage and also the easiest one, because at the end you will be in Santiago. There are no important impediments for people with reduced mobility.

Km 0 ‧ O Pedrouzo
We leave O Pedrouzo on Rúa Concello and turn left when we reach the football (soccer) field to take a dirt track that will take us to the small village of San Antón. We will walk past it to reach Amenal.

Km 3,4 ‧ Amenal
Leaving Amenal, we´ll again cross the national road through an underpass and, after passing through a forest, walk parallel to it along a dirt path that borders the Santiago airport. Once we pass the airport, we´ll take the local road on the right. Here, we arrive at San Paio, where we´ll cross a tunnel and continue along on the path to Lavacolla.
Km 9,5 ‧ Lavacolla
After Lavacolla, we´ll cross the national road and then take the local road across the Sionlla River, ascending to Vilamaior. As we continue on, we´ll pass the Galician Television and TVE stations as we approach the road that leads to San Marcos.
Km 14,5 ‧ San Marcos
We arrive to San Marcos by the street which bears its name. We continue in the same direction as we begin a small descent along a signposted path that leads us to the Monte do Gozo complex.
Km 15 ‧ Monte do Gozo
Named for the joy that pilgrims feel after hearing the Cathedral bells for the first time, the Monte do Gozo lets us know we´re very close. We descend through some stairs and cross successive bridges over the highway until we reach Rua San Lázaro, continuing for just over a kilometer. We take Rua do Valiño on the left and then continue along Rua Fontiñas, Fonte dos Concheiros, Avda. De Lugo, Rua Concheiros and finally Rua San Pedro, which will take you to the historic quarter. From here we´ll walk along Rua Casas Real and once reaching Plaza de Cervantes, we will take the street on the right, Rua Acibechería. This will lead directly to the Plaza de Obradoiro, and of course, the Cathedral of Santiago! A job well-done, pilgrim, as you´ve finally finished the Camino.
All of those feelings and emotions accumulated over the trek can now be realized and released as expressions of joy and relief that you´ve arrived to your destination and completed your journey. Well, our official Camino ends here, but for you, maybe it has only just begun!
