Gastronomy

The municipality of Almendralejo has a gastronomy very similar to the rest of Extremadura, where pork products such as chorizo or ham, cheeks, prey, secret or Iberian feather stand out. But also, the exquisite Extremaduran olives stand out and consequently, the extra virgin olive oil. Every meal in these lands must be accompanied by a good wine with the Ribera del Guadiana Denomination of Origin. At dessert time you can not miss the typical sweets of the convent of the city, you should also accompany it with cava with its own designation of origin and liquors of the people as the acorn liqueur.
