About this stage
The stage takes on real importance in the last stretch. Once in the Pancorbo gorge, you can begin to admire the enormous arches of the railway bridge. Afterwards you will come to the Cristo del Barrio hermitage, a Romanesque hermitage with Roman tombstones reused for the walls of the façade. Once in Pancorbo, we recommend that you take some time to stroll around the town, appreciating its medieval beauty, as well as visiting the Church of San Nicolás and its 2 castles.
Recommendation Pilgrim
Again an easy stage for pilgrims on bikes and those with physical disabilities, so they should be stages to regain strength to face the next harder ones.

Km 0 ‧ Miranda de Ebro
From the river Ebro we take the road to Orón. When we reach this town, we continue towards the Santiago Apóstol Hospital, which has a path next to it, which we continue to the outskirts of Bujedo. We take the road that leads to the town and then take a path to Ameyugo.
Km 16,4 ‧ Pancorbo
Once in Ameyugo, we cross a stream to take a path that leads us to the railway bridge to cross the Pancorbo gorge. On the other side of the gorge we continue along a path towards the Cristo del Barrio hermitage. After passing this hermitage we must cross the Oroncillo river gorge to reach Pancorbo.
